Rebuild

Installing a new Operating System will delete all data currently stored on the server, and reset all credentials for the server. If you need to keep any data please make a copy or take a backup before proceeding.

Method

  1. To perform a Rebuild on a server, navigate to the relevant server page, select Server Actions and choose Rebuild.

  2. You will be presented with a confirmation dialogue and the ability to select a new Operating System to install from a dropdown.

  3. Select Rebuild to initiate your Rebuild. The process takes 5-15 minutes to complete during which time all other server actions will be unavailable. For servers with larger disk sizes, the rebuild can take longer.
